It would behoove me to mention here that I am playing this Friday, May 4, at a happy hour gig in Westport in Kansas City; also next Friday, May 11th, and two Fridays in June.

The band is called Rockhill, or The Rockhills. Nobody quite seems to know. Anyway, I’ve known these guys forever, and they’re lots of fun. The material is about half originals and half old rock covers. Here is a gig poster with the particulars, by Doug Osburn, the bass player.

In particular, it behooves me to mention this gig because we’re on a straight percentage-of-the-bar deal—no cover. So come on out and buy yourself a drink. You deserve it!
