Meet the current menagerie:

This is Tigger, the supermodel kitty—very photogenic, skinny, throws up her food most of the time. Here she hides in the basement from Henry. She hates him, hates him, no no she would never play with him. No.

Here is Beanie, the Princess Kitty. She doesn’t like it when you say her tail looks like that of a squirrel. She does not suffer fools gladly.

Here’s Fido—beautiful, surly, drowner of rubber bands:

small fierce carnivore
attacks pine cones and mosquitos
fears vacuum cleaners

This is Henry, officially known as “Henry Draper, MEC (Most Excellent Cat).” He is extremely affectionate, doesn’t like tuna, says “Woof!” rather than “Meow” and loves to play fetch. Our current theory is that he is an extraterrestrial alien in a cat suit.

This is Olivia, our newest kitty. She is even more affectionate than Henry, hard as that is to believe. Our digital camera died, so I haven’t had a chance to get a better picture of her yet.

Boog, lord and master of every house I lived in for 19 years, is no more. But he has his own page now.
